Just when I was trying to decide if I wanted to use a new wallet with this contest, one fell in my lap! I ordered this brass bottlehook and a copper bracelet from Corter Goods last month. However, he ran out of bracelets and sent this travel wallet instead. I took that as a sign that this should be my new wallet for the next year.. can't wait to see how these 2 items age along with my jeans! I know Jawnzer got that awesome one from Don't Mourn Organize..anyone else starting with a new one?

Sweet. Yeah, I've got a Tanner Utility Bifold on the way - hopefully it and a belt are waiting for me when I get home today.
Another Subaru driver here too ;-)

Awesome! I love Tanner Goods...I wear their heritage belt in cognac with copper buckle daily & have 2 of their wallets. Good stuff! Also, awesome about the Subaru! I love mine!

Need to pick up some saddle soap for my wallet, as I was sweating profusely the last week, and it has dyed my wallet black

Have the same corter wallet too but in oxblood. Love Eric's work, have the belt, wallet, chrons bracelet, and bottle hook opener.

Very cool, cpaul! Do you use a chain or anything with it? I still haven't figured out what the key ring is for & when I put it in my pocket the key ring is always popping up..which seems like an invitation for someone to pull it out. lol. Thinking of picking up the "shorty minimalist lanyard" from Ewing Dry Goods..

I've actually taken the key ring off. I assumed it was for attaching a lanyard but haven't bought anything for it. Tanner has some cool stuff that I might get for when I'm traveling. Hadn't heard of Ewing Dry Goods but it looks like nice stuff.
OPPS, just realized I have the smaller version. Yours is the one big enough to fit a passport right?

So cool! I think I'm going to order a Tanner Utility Bifold tomorrow. I wanted to get this one from Hollows Leather but it's sold out and he works alone so he's very slow with restocks.

Hollow's leather is awesome! I have a bracelet and a belt from him, but have been wanting a wallet for SO long..he's just always working on projects & not open for special orders. This my first Subaru..a 2013 Outback. Definitely not my last..I love it!!

Do you guys do anything with your leather goods to protect them? Do they go blue at all from the denim?
I had to send my belt back to the store as it was too small, but it looked great. The wallet is also amazing and I can't wait to cull all my cards etc down and minimise.

I put mink oil on all my natural leather. Other than that I will leave it plain, might pick up some saddle soap for my wallet as it's going a little bit dark on the back of the wallet from being died.

I actually put mink oil on my wallet on Day 1 as well. I know it's definitely going to pick up some denim color b/c my others have as well. I don't mind though. I can't wait to see how this looks by the end!

Got this in the mail from LeatherGoodsConnection. Need to get some oil tomorrow, I don't want to use my boot oil on it as I think it would get darker then I want it to before it's time.
